Popsicle Christmas ESKIMO slices with chocolate coating

I have already started with Christmas baking well in advance. I found this recipe on the internet long time ago and I adjusted it to my liking and it is really great. If you want a creamy dessert for Christmas, then definitely try this one.

Ingredients

Dough:

1 ⅔ cups
powdered sugar
1 ⅔ cups
flour
4 oz
ground walnuts
7 tbsp
brewed coffee
4 pcs
egg
1 ½ tsp
baking powder

Cream:

8 oz
butter
1 ⅔ cups
powdered sugar
1 pc
egg yolk
1 pack
vanilla sugar

More ingredients:

1 cup
milk
3 tbsp
plain flour

Glaze:

3.5 oz
chocolate
3.5 oz
fat

  1. Dough:
    Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff and set aside. In the second bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar until stiff, gradually add coffee and flour mixed with baking powder and ground nuts. At the end, carefully mix in the whipped snow from the egg whites.
  2. Layer the prepared dough on a baking sheet that you have greased and sprinkled with flour. Bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for about 20 minutes. Leave the baked dough to cool.
  3. Cream:
    Cook a thick porridge from milk and flour, which you leave to cool. Beat the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk until foamy. Gradually add the cooled porridge made of flour and milk.
  4. Glaze:
    Combine the chocolate and fat in a water bath.
  5. I cut out circles from the dough, which I covered with chocolate and decorated with nuts. Of course, you don't have to cut out circles at all, you can cut the dough into classic cuts (cubes).
