These simple and quick Christmas cookies are little longer cookies with a relief, which are popularly called bear paws. This simple Christmas cookie has a long tradition in European countries - great-grandmothers were already preparing it for Christmas.

A classic recipe for this type of cookies consists of flour, butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, ground nuts, cloves and cinnamon. Due to the content of aromatic spices, these Christmas cookies have a strong taste. After processing, the dough is pressed into special baking molds, in which it is also baked. After cooling, the cookies are most often coated in powdered sugar. As this is a dry cookie, it is a good idea to start making it at least 2 weeks before Christmas so that it has aged well and has time to soften.
