Chicken and vegetables in a sweet chili sauce

A mixture of chicken and vegetables in a sweet chili sauce. As a side dish, jasmine or basmati rice is perfect.

Ingredients
10 oz
chicken steaks (boneless upper chicken thighs)
2 tbsp
oil
2 tbsp
high-quality soy sauce
a pinch
ground chili
a pinch
ground ginger

Other ingredients:

1 pc
carrot
1 pc
red pepper
6 inches
leek
1 pc
young zucchini
a bundle
fresh green onion
1 pc
onion
½ cup
sweet chili sauce
2 tbsp
rice vinegar
2 tsp
cane sugar
as needed
salt
2 tbsp
oil
Preparation steps
Print
  1. Clean the meat and cut into strips. Drizzle with oil, add spices and soy sauce and leave overnight in the fridge.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok, add the meat and stir-fry. Add rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Stir and fry again for a while. Add carrot and leek cut into noodles, onion cut into strips, red pepper and zucchini cut into cubes. Salt to taste.
  3. Then add the chili sauce and let it cook for about 5 minutes. The vegetables must be soft enough.
  4. Finally, add diagonally sliced fresh green onion (the white part, keep the green part for the final decoration). Add salt if necessary. As a side dish, jasmine or basmati rice is perfect.
