Today my 6-year-old daughter was very brave at the dentist, so I promised her the treat after that and I prepared these delicious fluffy donuts for her, she loves them and of course, we will all enjoy them alongside her 😃 since there is a baking sheet full of them! I even gave some of them to our neighbor. Donuts are trending now a lot. It's a tasty sweet treat of just the right size, kids love them and each one can be decorated nicely and we can come up with different toppings. Try this easy oven donut recipe. It's a healthier option without fried oil and you don't even have to stand by them, you just slide them into the oven. This batch makes 16-20 pieces.

  1. Make a non-sticky dough from the ingredients and let it rise for about an hour.
  2. Roll out the dough to a height of about 1/3 to 2/3 in', cut out circles using a large beer glass and cut out a ring inside using a shot glass.
  3. Place on a greased and floured tray and leave to rise for 20-30 minutes.
  4. Bake at 375 °F / 190 °C for 20 minutes.
  5. After it has cooled, dip it in the chocolate coating (melt the chocolate in the whipping cream) and sprinkle with sugar decorations, nuts, candies, crushed cookies or even marshmallows, there are no limits to your imagination.
