A delicious Italian dessert that melts on the tongue, pleases the eye and delights the taste buds. Tiramisu is creamy, smooth and irresistibly delicious - and with this simple recipe you can easily make your own tiramisu at home.

whipping cream
1 ¼ cups
strong coffee
8 oz
mascarpone
8 oz
Lady fingers
¾ cup
powdered sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
for sprinkling
cocoa

  1. Whip the whipping cream to a firm consistency. Then add sugar a little at a time and mix. At the end, mix in the vanilla extract as well.
  2. Add the mascarpone to the whipped cream and beat until smooth.
  3. Dip the Lady fingers in the cooled coffee - do not leave them there for too long so they don't get soggy.
  4. Place the soaked Lady fingers in a cake pan (ideally 8 in' in diameter) lined with baking paper.
  5. Layer about half of the cream on the Lady fingers and spread evenly.
  6. Then create a second layer of Lady fingers and again spread with cream.
  7. Put the tiramisu in the fridge to harden for about 4 hours. Then you can remove the edges of the cake pan, dust the top of the dessert with cocoa powder and serve.
