So this cake made the whole internet crazy. I had to try it myself during these warm days. It looks a bit like the well-known "mole" cake, but instead of bananas, strawberries are used, and most importantly, this dessert is prepared without an oven, which means - no baking. All you need is whipped cream, mascarpone, powdered sugar, cookie base and lots of strawberries. Heaven in the mouth.

No-bake strawberry cake - better than ice cream!

So this cake made the whole internet crazy. I had to try it myself during these warm days. It looks a bit like the well-known "mole" cake, but instead of bananas, strawberries are used, and most importantly, this dessert is prepared without an oven, which means - no baking. All you need is whipped cream, mascarpone, powdered sugar, cookie base and lots of strawberries. Heaven in the mouth.

Ingredients

Cake base:

14 oz
butter cookies
4 oz
butter

Cream:

8 oz
mascarpone
4 oz
whipping cream
1 cup
powdered sugar
5 oz
strawberries
Preparation steps

  1. Prepare the biscuit base in the classic way. Blend the biscuits into a powder, add the melted butter and mix. Divide the base in half. Layer one part on the bottom of a round cake pan that is lined with baking paper and press down nicely.
  2. Beat the whipping cream together with the sugar until stiff, carefully mix in the mascarpone at the lowest possible speed. Add chopped strawberries to the cream and layer on top of the base.
  3. Crush the remaining dough in your hand and sprinkle it over the cream.
  4. Put it in the fridge to harden and you can serve it then.
