Delicious moist cake filled with chocolate and apples. My chocolate glaze didn't even have time to harden and I had to cut it so that we would have something sweet at home after lunch. And it turned out like this - there was not a single piece left that I would serve nicely and take a picture for you so that you could feel it through the screen. If you have apples at home, be sure to try it, or save this recipe and when it's apple season, don't miss this dessert. :) It is totally divine.

  1. Beat the eggs with sugar until foamy, gradually add oil, flour mixed with cocoa and baking powder. Season with rum (if children will eat the cake, replace the rum with essence).
  2. Prepare an approx. 8 x 12 in' baking sheet, line the bottom with baking paper, layer the dough and bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for about half an hour. Divide the baked dough in half.
  3. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices, cover them with water and rum, sprinkle with sugar. Cook until soft and use a kitchen mixer to mash it (together with rum and sugar water). Add chocolate broken into pieces and cubed butter to the hot applesauce. Dissolve by stirring and add half of the crushed dough. Layer on top of the base dough, smooth it out nicely and cover the top with chocolate glaze (melt chocolate with butter, add oil and combine).
