Baked potatoes with French sauce

Are you tired of classic rice or traditional mashed potatoes as a side dish to the main meal? Prepare delicious baked potatoes with French sauce. The sauce consists of oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic and Dijon mustard. Dijon mustard will add an excellent taste, be sure not to confuse it with the classic one. I tried it and Dijon is still better.

  1. Wash the potatoes and cut them into smaller pieces (it is best to use smaller potatoes that you cut in half). Put them in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.
  2. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place them in a preheated oven. Bake at a temperature of 430 °F / 220 °C for about 20 - 30 minutes.
  3. Sauce:
Add pressed garlic (you can also chop it into small pieces), sugar, vinegar, Dijon mustard to the oil and mix thoroughly. Put the baked potatoes in a bowl, pour the sauce over the potatoes and mix.
  4. Potatoes are served as a side dish to the main meal or with sour cream. Don't forget to sprinkle coarsely chopped fresh parsley on the plate. Enjoy!
