Recipe Baked rice with ham and cheese

Tasty and ready in a few minutes. Baked rice with ham and cheese. I used mozzarella cheese, if you prefer it more cheesy, feel free to use more mozzarella or another cheese stronger in taste. Carrots give it a better taste, I've made it without it before and it wasn't the same, so definitely don't leave it out of the recipe. A simple meal that you prepare quickly and bake in one baking sheet, so you don't even work too much :) Author: Lacusin

  1. Cook the rice in a classic way in salted water (I cook the rice like pasta - I put water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Then I add salt, add the rice and cook on the lowest temperature for 15 minutes. Then we strain the rice through a sieve and let it drain.)
  2. In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, grated mozzarella, sliced ham, grated carrot, chopped parsley, beaten eggs in milk, cream cheese and half a cup of grated parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper it. Mix thoroughly and layer the mixture prepared in this way into a baking sheet, which you have thoroughly greased with oil.
  3. Bake it in a preheated oven at a temperature of 390 °F / 200 °C for about 30 minutes. Just before the end, sprinkle the top with the remaining parmesan cheese and bake until golden.
