Ingredients: 5 ¾ cups semi-coarse flour; 8 oz butter; 6 tbsp lard; 2 pcs egg yolk; 1 oz fresh yeast; 5.5 oz hard cheese; 6 oz sour cream; 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp cumin; ½ cup milk; 1 pc egg (for egg wash); 1 tsp sweet paprika

5 ¾ cups

semi-coarse flour

8 oz

butter

6 tbsp

lard

2 pcs

egg yolk

1 oz

fresh yeast

5.5 oz

hard cheese

6 oz

sour cream

1 tsp

salt

1 tsp

cumin

½ cup

milk

1 pc

egg (for egg wash)

1 tsp

sweet paprika

Preparation steps

Print

Add the yeast to the warm milk and let the leaven rise.
Put flour in a bowl, add butter, lard, egg yolks, half of grated hard cheese, sour cream, salt and then yeast.
Mix everything together thoroughly and let it rest for about 3-4 hours.
Then roll out the dough on a surface sprinkled with flour and cut into sticks. Place them on a paper-lined baking sheet and wash them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sweet paprika and cumin.
Sprinkle the sticks with the rest of the grated cheese and bake. Bake at a temperature of 390 °F / 200 °C until golden. Enjoy!
