There is beauty in simplicity and of course in taste! Banana roulades are the best. This recipe is also suitable for beginners, even if you are afraid of roulades, don't despair. If you roll it while still hot with baking paper and a damp dish cloth, it will never break or crack. That's the rule, roll it when hot! Banana inside is such a classic, I can't imagine a roulade without banana, even though there are many recipes without it, but for me, a roulade is a roulade only if it's with a banana.

  3. Mix in the flour that you have mixed with cocoa and baking powder.
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then gently mix them into the cocoa mass.
  5. Pour the prepared mascarpone filling into a baking tray (approx. 10x15 in), which you have lined with baking paper, and pour the mixed dough over the filling.
  6. Bake at 355 °F / 180 °C for about 15-18 minutes.
  7. Take out the baked dough with the filling, place it on a damp dish cloth sprinkled with powdered sugar and roll it up. Let cool slightly.
  8. Then spread the dough, place the whole banana on the side and roll it back up. Let the roulade cool completely.
  9. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut into slices and serve. Enjoy!
