A fantastic Christmas cookie that no guest can resist. Pine cones on the table look great, you can decorate them with a pin and you don't need any other Christmas decorations. Sprinkled with powdered sugar, they look like covered with snow.

Ingredients

3.5 oz

butter

¾ cup

powdered sugar

3 ½ tsp

oil

1 pc

egg

2 ½ cups

plain flour

3 ⅓ tbsp

cocoa

½ tsp

baking powder

a pinch

salt

Preparation steps

Beat a butter (in a room temperature) with a mixer together with powdered sugar. Add the other ingredients and create a ball, which you wrap in food foil and leave in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
After an hour, divide the dough into equal pieces (I got 30 pieces, 15 pieces after gluing them with marmalade).
Make a ball, which you shape into a cylinder. One side of the cylinder is thicker than the other. Make oblique cuts to the right side with the knife, then repeat them once more, but to the left side. See the picture.
Carefully transfer them to a baking sheet lined with paper and shape them into a cone shape with your fingers.
Bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for 15 minutes. After baking, let them cool.
After cooling, sprinkle them with powdered sugar. You can glue them together with marmalade.
