Creamy ice cubes

Simple and quick dessert that can be prepared just in an hour. Creamy desserts are the best and this is a perfect example. Yum! We enjoyed it at home a lot and couldn't wait until it was ready to be served. I used sliced almonds to decorate, but you can also use other types of nuts. Just the almonds are finer and they go perfectly with the delicious yolk cream.

Preparation steps
  1. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks and gradually add sugar. Add the flour and lay the dough on a baking tray. Then bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 °F / 175 °C for about 20 minutes.
  2. Mix the egg yolks with sugar, add 3/4 cup of milk and pudding powders mixed with flour. Add this smooth mass to the warmed milk (remaining amount) in the pot. Bring to the boil and stir constantly. Remove the cream from heat and let it cool. Add the butter to the slightly cooled mass and melt it.
  3. Lay the cream on the baked dough and layer whipped cream on the cream. Decorate with almond flakes and leave in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  4. Cut the dessert into slices and serve. Enjoy your cake!
