Cucumber lemonade

Have you tried cucumber lemonade yet? At first I was very afraid of the mixed cucumber that you put in the lemonade, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing taste. I make lemonades very often especially on hot summer days, when our body needs enough fluids. Experts say that on hot summer days you should not drink extremely ice cold water, because such water cools the body immediately and for a very short time, and at the same time it is a big shock to the body, that's why I make lemonades without ice. If you want, you can add more sugar or honey, or slices of lemon.

Ingredients

Cucumber lemonade:

6 cups
sparkling (or non-sparkling) water
1 pc
cucumber
2 tbsp
honey or cane sugar
2 pcs
lime
Preparation steps

  1. Peel the cucumber, cut it into larger pieces, put it in a roughly 1/4 gallon container (jug) and blend it with a stick blender until it has the consistency of a thin puree.
  2. Add approximately 2 cups of water (sparkling or still) and leave to infuse for 10-15 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Pour the infused cucumber mixture through a strainer into a jug, squeeze the juice from two limes and sweeten to taste with honey or cane sugar.
  4. Add more water and mix the lemonade very well so that it has a balanced taste.
  5. Add ice cubes, which you certainly do not skimp on, and let the prepared drink cool in the refrigerator.
