Flourless hazelnut roulade ready in a few minutes

Fantastic flourless hazelnut roulade with sour cream. Juicy, quick and simple. Maybe next time I would replace the sour cream with mascarpone or even with whipped cream and mascarpone, it would be stiffer and it would be easier to cut. The sour cream absorbed a little into the dough, but I must say that the roulade was delicious in terms of taste. It was definitely not the last time I made it at home. Yummy, the whole family enjoyed it.

Ingredients
4 pcs
egg
4 tbsp
sugar
1 pack
vanilla sugar
2 oz
ground walnuts
8 oz
sour cream
to taste
powdered sugar
Preparation steps

  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gradually add the granulated and vanilla sugar. When you have a stiff, glossy foam, add the egg yolks, mixed with a fork, and finally stir in the ground nuts with a wooden spoon.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet, line it with baking paper and layer a thin layer of dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for 12-15 minutes.
  3. Immediately after baking, take away the baking  paper. (If you don't succeed, cover the paper with a damp cloth, wait a while and try again. The paper should come off the dough.)
  4. Mix the sour cream with powdered sugar and spread it on the dough. Roll up and put in the refrigerator.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
