An excellent snack for a movie, hockey or even as a side dish to tasty meat. Try it, I made these croquettes to have while watching a hockey game and I served them with sour cream.

Ingredients

Dough:

1.5 lbs
potato
1 tsp
salt
a handful
parsley
3.5 oz
cheese

Filling:

3.5 oz
sliced cheese
3.5 oz
ham

Coating:

2 pcs
egg
2 handfuls
breadcrumbs
as needed
oil

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Cook together with salt until soft. Let cool.
  2. Mash the potatoes, add chopped parsley and grated cheese.
  3. Take some of the potato dough in the palm of your hands, make a patty and put a slice of ham and cheese on it. Fold the patty in half and close it so that the cheese does not leak out during frying.
  4. Coat the croquette in beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. Fry in a larger layer of oil.
