Ingredients

Ingredients:

2 ½ cups

granulated sugar

9 oz

cranberries

1 cup

water

3 tbsp

orange juice

1 tbsp

grated orange zest

2 cups

vodka

Preparation steps

Pour water into the pan, add sugar and let it boil. When the sugar is dissolved, add cranberries (if you don't have fresh ones, add dried ones that you soaked in hot water for 3 hours), orange juice and orange zest and mix. Immediately remove from heat and let it cool a little.
Pour the mixture into a blender and mix briefly - just enough to let the cranberries release their juice and color (do not mix for too long to blend the cranberries, they must remain almost whole).
When the mass has cooled, add vodka and mix thoroughly. Pour into bottles and leave for 3 weeks in a dark and cool room. It's worth the wait, the liqueur tastes perfectly! Shake the bottles whenever you remember.
