For the base, you can use any leavened dough with which you have good experience working or you can even use puff pastry. If you use puff pastry, it takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare.
Roll the dough into a thin sheet, sprinkle it with cheese, put a slice of bacon (you can also use ham or salami) and carefully roll it into a spiral.
Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, wash with beaten egg yolk, sprinkle with seeds and bake in a preheated oven at 390 °F / 200 °C until golden.
Leave the baked sticks to cool. Do not move them warm, they may break. If you would like to make this simple recipe special, you can spread pizza base or ketchup, or pesto or another sauce on the dough.
