Prepare yeast from 3/4 cup of warm milk, a little sugar and yeast (let it rise in a warm place). Pour 8 and 1/3 cups of flour, egg, oil, salt and 3/4 cup of sugar into a bowl. Add the leavened yeast and the remaining milk. Make a non-sticky dough. See the photo for the density of the dough, add flour if it is too thin and milk if it is too thick. The dough must be well worked, otherwise it will not rise. You know it is done correctly when the dough stops sticking to the sides of the bowl. Leave to rise in a warm place.
While the dough is rising, prepare the pudding. Mix milk and sugar, add chocolate pudding, mix well so that there are no lumps and cook a thick pudding.
When it is risen, divide it into nine parts. Spread pudding on each one, roll up. Braid it all together and bake it in a heated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for 25-30 minutes.
After baking, wash with oil while it is still "hot" and sprinkle with sugar. Slice only when it cools down.
