A simple cake you will fall in love with. Puff pastry, pudding, Lady fingers and fruit. In the original recipe only 2 packs of vanilla pudding were mentioned, but to me it did not seem enough, so I added one more pack to be sure it would be dense enough. The cake was delicious and next time I will try to make it with grated apples or blueberries.

A simple cake you will fall in love with. Puff pastry, pudding, Lady fingers and fruit. In the original recipe only 2 packs of vanilla pudding were mentioned, but to me it did not seem enough, so I added one more pack to be sure it would be dense enough. The cake was delicious and next time I will try to make it with grated apples or blueberries.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

1 pack
puff pastry
1 pack
Lady fingers
1 pack
apricot compote
4 cups
milk
3 pack
vanilla pudding
4 tbsp
crystal sugar
for decoration
powdered sugar
Preparation steps
Print
  1. Roll out the puff pastry on the floured worktop, cut it in half.
  2. Line the baking tray with baking paper and put there one sheet of puff pastry. Then place Lady fingers downward and then the apricots on top.
  3. Melt the sugar and pudding powders in the milk - cook a thick pudding and pour while still warm on the fruit. Put the second puff pastry sheet on top and bake in a pre-heated oven.
  4. Bake at 350 °F / 175 °C until golden. Let the baked cake cool down and sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. Enjoy your cake!
