Beat the sugar and eggs together into a foam, then add water, flour and baking powder. For the pink dough, add the food coloring to the eggs and sugar and mix together until foamy, and then gradually add the other ingredients. Bake each dough in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for approx. 20 - 25 minutes.
Punch: Put everything together in a pot and boil.
Punch frosting: Whip the frosting according to the instructions on the package.
You can layer: spread the apricot jam on the white dough, put the pink dough on top and pour the punch over it. Spread the other white dough with apricot jam and place it upside down on the poured pink sheet of dough. Spread jam on top and place a pink sheet of dough. Pour the punch again and place the last sheet of white dough that you spread with jam.
Put a baking sheet on top of the cake, on which you put milk or books and let it stand for at least 4 hours - the cake needs to be pressed down. Pour the prepared punch frosting over the top and let it harden. Cut into neat slices and serve. Enjoy!
