Great inspiration for tomorrow's lunch. Salty cauliflower cake with minced meat, cheese and bacon. I was looking for inspiration on the Internet of what I could cook for lunch and finally I combined three recipes - boiled cauliflower, meatballs baked in the oven and baked potatoes. It turned out to be quite a tasty meal, so I'm sure it was not the last time I prepared it.

  1. Wash the whole cauliflower and put it in boiling water in which you boiled 2 bouillon cubes. Cook until soft. Remove the cooked cauliflower and dry it with a towel. Let cool.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet, grease it with oil and place the bacon slices in the shape of a circle. Place the entire cauliflower in the center.
  3. Mix the minced meat in a bowl with an egg, finely chopped onion, pressed garlic and bread that you soaked in milk beforehand. Add salt and pepper to taste, add a pinch of nutmeg and mix all together.
  4. Layer the meat mass on the cauliflower and smooth it out nicely. Place sliced cheese and cover the entire surface with bacon.
  5. Cut the potatoes into slices and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 355 °F / 180 °C for about 45-50 minutes, covered with aluminum foil. Then remove the foil and increase the temperature to get a crispy crust.
