Simple pound cake from grandmother

A simple recipe for a classic pound cake. Preparation will not take you more than 10 minutes. And of course, nothing goes wrong with a pound cake. It's a basic recipe that every woman should master :) So, no excuses and come make a great pound cake with me. It not only looks great, but also tastes great. Be sure to alternate layers of cocoa and light batter to create "the zebra" pattern. Don't forget to add sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.

Preparation steps
  1. Prepare the ingredients in advance so that they are at room temperature. Beat the eggs into a foam and gradually beat in the sugar, add vanilla sugar, oil, and finally milk and flour mixed with baking powder, which you have sifted through a fine sieve.
  2. Mix one spoon of milk with cocoa and add half of the dough. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Prepare a mold, which you should thoroughly grease with oil and sprinkle with flour, and you can alternately layer white and cocoa dough.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for about 45-50 minutes. Take out the baked pound cake, let it cool slightly, and then turn it out. Sprinkle the top with icing sugar and serve.
