Slices with eggnog and Chantilly cream

These slices are luxurious, I baked them for a family celebration, everyone wanted the recipe! I haven't eaten something so good, and at the same time simple to prepare, even in a pastry shop.



5 pcs
3 tbsp
granulated sugar
2 tbsp
2 tbsp
hot water
5 tbsp
2 tbsp
1 ¼ tsp
baking powder


3 cups
2 packs
vanilla pudding
¾ cup
8 oz
3 tbsp
powdered sugar

Chantilly cream:

16 oz
heavy whipping cream
1 tbsp
2 tbsp
Preparation steps
  1. Beat the egg whites until almost stiff, then add the sugar and beat until stiff. Then whisk in the egg yolks one at a time, then add the oil and water. Finally, lightly mix in the flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa.
  2. Pour the dough onto a greased and floured baking sheet and bake in a moderately heated oven (about 10 minutes).
  3. Boil 2 & 1/2 cups of milk for the cream. Mix the puddings and sugar in the rest of the milk, pour into the hot milk and cook a thick pudding. Stir the eggnog into the hot mixture. Let it cool down.
  4. Beat the butter at room temperature and add the cooled pudding in parts and beat until smooth. Spread the cream on the cake base.
  5. Prepare the Chantilly cream by pouring heavy whipping cream into a bowl, adding cocoa and sugar and whipping until stiff.
  6. Decorate with grated chocolate and drizzle with eggnog.
