Snow candies with a surprise inside

Nice looking and delicious. It was a bit too sweet for my sweets lovers at home, but they ate it anyway :) You can put anything inside, for example chocolate, various chocolate candies, or these caramel Toffifay candies like I did.

Ingredients
1 ¼ cups
plain flour
½ cup
powdered sugar
3.5 oz
butter
1 pc
egg yolk
a pinch
salt
1 tbsp
water
48 pcs
Toffifay candies
2 pcs
egg white
1 tsp
lemon juice
1 ⅓ cups
granulated sugar
Preparation steps

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl, add powdered sugar, butter at a room temperature, add the yolk, a pinch of salt and make a smooth dough. If necessary, add a tablespoon of cold water. If the dough still crumbles and is loose, add more water, but only spoon by spoon so as not to overdo it.
  2. Roll out the dough into a thin sheet, cut out circles, on which you put candies based on your choice.
  3. Beat the egg whites with sugar and lemon juice to a stiff foam, which you put into a pastry bag. Cover the candies placed inside  with the foam and shape it into "a roof".
  4. Bake in a preheated oven. Bake at a temperature of 350 °F / 175 °C for about 15-20 minutes. Let it cool after baking.
