When I want to please a man with a food, I always reach for meat and sauerkraut and come up with a dish. This meal completely got him and I filled him up with two more portions, a really excellent and tasty lunch.

1 ¾ lbs
pork
1 pc
onion
3 pcs
sausage
2 handfuls
dried mushrooms
1 pc
sauerkraut
2-3 cloves
garlic
8 oz
cooking cream
2 pcs
bay leaves
to taste
marjoram
to taste
smoked sweet paprika
to taste
ground black pepper
to taste
salt
for thickening
flour

  1. Saute the sliced onion in the oil and add the cubed pork, salt, season with ground black pepper and smoked paprika and fry.
  2. Add 3 chopped sausages, also fry and cover with water.
  3. Then add dried mushrooms, 2-3 pressed garlic, a sauerkraut, 2 bay leaves, marjoram and cook everything together until soft.
  4. At the end, add cream and, if necessary, thicken with flour mixed in water. Salt continuously and only lightly, the sausage will release enough salt. Serve with dumplings or gnocci.
