Recipe Perfect substitute for classic pastries – yogurt pancakes, which are ready in a few minutes and do not require leavening

If you are going to prepare pizza dough or savory pastries in the comfort of your own home, the leavening time is indicated in most recipes. If you've decided you want to eat home-made pizza/pastry right away, try this recipe for no-leaven dough. To make the dough fluffy, baking powder is added. You don't need to spread tomato sauce on them at all, nor do you need to add ham and cheese. Even if you make plain loaves, believe me, this pastry will taste good for breakfast.

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl, add the baking powder, the instant dry yeast, add salt and granulated sugar. Mix and add lukewarm water, melted butter, white yogurt (if you don't have it, you can add, for example, sour cream) and oil to the mixture.
  2. Mix everything together, make a loaf of dough and divide into 10 pieces.
  3. Process each piece into a small ball, which you work into a pancake shape on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and make a hole in the middle with a glass - make a hole only if you want to fill the pastry with, for example, ham, cheese or other ingredients. For plain pastries, for example, make small balls and after baking you will have buns.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 390 °F / 200 °C until golden.
