Puff pastry is very popular in the kitchen because it makes the preparation of any dish very simple. If you love light and healthy meals, definitely try the puff pastry filled with spinach filling.

grated parmesan
1 clove
garlic

  1. First of all, preheat the oven to 355 °F / 180 °C and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped baby spinach, ricotta, egg, grated Parmesan and pressed garlic.
  3. Salt and pepper the mixture to your taste.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle and then cut it into two halves.
  5. Put the spinach mixture onto each half and spread evenly.
  6. Carefully roll both halves end to end to form two rolls.
  7. Transfer one roll onto the baking sheet and start rolling it into "a snail" in the middle of the baking sheet.
  8. Connect the second roll to the first one and copy its shape.
  9. Wash the rolls with egg and place in the oven.
  10. Bake for about 30 minutes - the puff pastry should be golden brown and fluffy.

Tip: For an even better and stronger taste, add chopped chives or a sprig of parsley to the spinach filling.
