Have you ever read the ingredients on fitness bars? Sugar everywhere, glucose syrup, minimum of oatmeal, dried fruit just passed by these bars and I'm not even talking about the labels on which it is written that you are guaranteed to lose weight. How about preparing sweet, healthy and at the same time much tastier granola bars in the comfort of your own home :) There are many recipes using bananas or other types of fruits, coconut flour, oat flour... Try this recipe too :)

  1. Mix the dates (you can soak them in hot water overnight), dried cranberries, shredded coconut, peanuts and raisins with a hand mixer (not completely, just so that the mass is uniform, but at the same time so that some pieces remain larger).
  2. Add the oatmeal and sesame seeds and mix well.
  3. Warm up the jam and honey over a low heat and add to the mixture. Mix everything well once more.
  4. Layer the mass into a smaller baking sheet, which you have lined with baking paper, and smooth it out nicely.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 390 °F / 200 °C for 10-15 minutes (depending on the thickness of the bars).
  6. Allow the baked base to cool and cut into bars.
