Healthy vanilla-cocoa brownies with cottage cheese

Easy and quick slices that can even be prepared by a beginner in baking. I only spent about half an hour preparing it, if I count washing the dishes, too. It's a really great quick snack and above all, it's very tasty.

Ingredients

Dough:

1 cup
whole grain flour
¾ tsp
baking powder
¼ tsp
baking soda
¼ tsp
salt
½ cup
brown sugar
¼ cup
cocoa
2 oz
butter
2 pcs
egg
¼ cup
milk
1 tbsp
vanilla essence

Filling:

1 cup
cottage cheese
1 pc
egg
¼ cup
brown sugar
1 tbsp
cornstarch
¼ tsp
salt
1 tbsp
vanilla essence
Preparation steps

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. In the second bowl, beat the eggs, melted butter and milk with a mixer. Gradually add the mixed dry mixture and a thicker dough will be formed.
  2. Layer half of the dough on the bottom of approx. 7x7 inch form, line the bottom with baking paper.
  3. Carefully pour the filling onto the dough - use a hand mixer to whisk together all the ingredients needed for the filling. The filling is a little thinner, but it hardens nicely during baking.
  4. Using a spoon, very carefully spread the second half of the dough on the filling and let it bake. Bake in a preheated oven at 355 °F / 180 °C for about 35 minutes. After baking, let it cool completely and then cut it. You can find out if the cake is fully baked by poking a toothpick into the center of the cake and when the toothpick is dry, the cake is ready. If it is still wet, continue to bake the cake.
