King of desserts - Lick your finger

A festive dessert that cannot be missing at the Christmas table at our house. I'm already looking forward to Christmas again and all the sweet treats I'll be baking.

Cooking time

5 pcs
1 cup
granulated sugar
5 tbsp
1 ⅓ cups
1 ½ tsp
baking powder
3 tbsp

2 cups
5 pcs
egg yolk
4 tbsp
plain flour
1 pack
vanilla sugar
¾ cup
granulated sugar
8 oz

Egg white foam:

5 pcs
egg white
1 cup
granulated sugar
1 pc
Preparation steps
  1. Beat the egg whites with granulated sugar until stiff, add one yolk at a time and beat thoroughly after each one. Add water and finally, with a wooden spoon, mix in the flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa. Mix together and layer the dough on a baking sheet (approx. 12x16 inches) with baking paper and bake. Bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 355 °F / 180 °C for about 25 minutes - watch it.
  2. Mix the egg yolks in the milk, add sugar, flour, vanilla and let it boil. Cook until completely thickened. Cover with food foil so that the foil touches the "pudding". Let it cool down. Beat the butter until foamy, add the "custard" spoon by spoon and whip a smooth cream, which you layer on the cooled dough.
  3. In a hot water bath, beat the egg whites with sugar and the juice of one lemon to a thick foam. Layer the egg white foam on top of the cream and sprinkle the top with grated chocolate.
  4. Put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours and then cut and serve it.
