Spanish Sangria

Alcoholic drink with cinnamon flavor. Refresh yourself with a tasty fruit drink originally from Spain. We serve it with grilled meat or just for pleasure.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

⅓ gal
dry red wine (1 ½ 750mL bottles)
5 tbsp
sugar
1 pc
lemon
3 pcs
orange
1 pc
cinnamon stick
3 ½ tbsp
cognac or brandy
¾ cup
sparkling water
to taste
fruit
Preparation steps

  1. Squeeze the juice from one orange. Cut 2 oranges into rings and place them in a large jug.
  2. Cut the lemon into rings and add it to the chopped oranges. Add one whole cinnamon stick, sugar and juice from one orange. Mix, you can also squish, so that the fruit releases its juice and aroma. You can also use any fruit you have at home - strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, ...
  3. Pour wine and add cognac or brandy - everyone according to what they like. Cover with food foil or with a lid and put in the fridge (it is best to prepare the drink in the evening and leave it in the fridge all night - the flavors will combine).
  4. Remove the cinnamon, add sparkling water and mix well. Serve with ice. Cheers!
